DRAFT SURVEY
Draft Surveys are done to find out the quantity of the cargo which has been loaded or unloaded from a vessel taking into account the difference in displacements.
These calculations are carried out taking the drafts marks readings in six points of the vessel: forward, aft and amidships. Afterwards and after applying several corrections for marks, water density, trim and once we know the fixed and variable weights of the vessel, we can determine in an accurate way the amount of cargo that the vessel has in its holds.
Our Surveyors have extensive experience in performing draft surveys and are available 24/7.
